Orvis Endorsed Fly-Fishing Schools

In one weekend, you'll learn skills to last a lifetime. Whether you choose to pursue the art of fly fishing on small streams or big rivers, bass lakes or ocean flats, our Orvis-endorsed School will show you everything you need to know. Orvis schools are the oldest in the country and our instructors have the knowledge and experience to introduce you to this great pastime.

Under the watchful eyes of Orvis instructors you’ll learn:
• Casting techniques
• Essential knots
• How to choose your gear and tackle
• Stream entomology
• Proper fly selection
• How to read water
• How to play, land, and safely release fish

Tuition is $430. Included is comprehensive instruction, a fishing license, use of an Orvis rod, reel, line and leader, and access to fishing before and after class.
